In 2018, when I announced to the world that I had lost 100 pounds, everyone around me wanted to know how I was doing.

If you find yourself eating out a lot, then there is no better device to buy than an Instant Pot. I’ve found that it makes cooking so easy that I don’t have to order on busy days and end up eating much healthier.

This pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, and yogurt maker all-in-one appliance can cook an entire pot roast in the same amount of time it takes me to pick up my teen from school and run a few errands. You just throw in food and the right amount of liquid, press the right button and you have dinner on the table within an hour.

Not convinced? Here are five reasons why you should have an Instant Pot. CNET’s Instant Pot Smart Wi-Fi Review.

Like the Instant Pot, the June Intelligent Oven makes cooking super easy, so you’re more likely to actually do it instead of relying on fast food.

Think of it as an automatic oven countertop. With the help of cameras and its built-in computer, the June can recognize the food you put in it and give you step-by-step instructions on how to cook it – including selecting the correct temperature and cooking time. It’s especially great if you’re low on culinary skills but want to cook healthy meals.

The June Oven also fries. With the air frying, you can use just a little bit of oil to “fry” a nice, crispy pan of chips or wings, making them healthier than fried.

I am well aware that the June Oven is steep at $ 600. But if you don’t prepare healthy meals because you don’t have the skills, the June can help. Read our review.

The better the quality, the easier it is to keep sharp, which reduces the frustration in preparation. High quality chef’s knives typically cost over $ 100, but if you’re just starting to cook for yourself, you can get away with a roughly $ 50 knife.
