Amazon Prime includes a ton of free, live TV channels you may not be familiar with – Review Geek

If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, you know that it includes tons and tons of streaming TV and movies, some of which are original and exclusive. You may know that you can subscribe to additional streaming catalogs, such as HBO and Showtime. But did you know that Prime also has a ton of live TV channels, which are available at no extra cost?

To be clear, these twenty-six channels still stream video, but they are presented as fixed programming blocks, like cable television. It̵

7;s a lot like the freebie channels you can access through Roku’s digital service in that there isn’t a whole lot of premium content and you can’t pause, rewind, or skip the (many) commercials. But when I read through the offers on Wednesday afternoon, I saw reruns of Bonanza, Evolution (that alien movie with Stoned Mulder), ed My favorite Martian. It is far from a wasteland.
