Apple may unveil its Netflix-like gaming subscription service on March 25 event – Technology News, Firstpost

We've heard from reports earlier this year that Apple has been working on its own gaming subscription service which will act as one "Netflix for games".

There are finally more news about that end and if you are a player it will definitely be at the edge of your place.

According to a report by Bloomberg Apple's event scheduled for March 25 can see the Cupertino giant reveal its own subscription-based gaming service along with its news and video services.

Mark Gurman in the report says Apple's game service is likely to tie paid games for a fixed monthly rate and would likely exclude "freemium" games where you have to make a purchase in the app to unlock everything. What this means is that you will not see anything like a Fortnite Battle Pass or a PUGB Royale Pass, but something similar to an Xbox Live subscription for IOS users.

According to the report, the monthly service fee would be shared among the games in the service based on the amount of time spent in each game.

From what we can do about it, Apple's service will not take on new cloud-based streaming offers such as Google Stages . Instead, the service will focus on combining paid games from different developers for iOS users, which consumers can access for a monthly fee. "

Now we are not sure if the service will debut as soon as the report proposes, but Apple has certainly cleared the way to focus on new services for the event.

Earlier this week, Apple also debuted a series of updated hardware as new AirPods iMacs and iPads
