Apple releases iOS 14.5 Developer Beta 3 for iPhone «iOS & iPhone :: Gadget Hacks

Apple released the third developer beta for iOS 14.5 today, Tuesday, March 2. The update comes two weeks after the company put developers in the second 14.5 beta, and 13 days after public testers received their second 14.5 update.

Apple released this developer update just after 1:00 p.m. PDT, not the company’s standard release time for developer updates. Note the word “developer” here, as this update is for registered iOS developers only. If you’re a public beta tester, you should wait for Apple to release the third 14.5 public beta, which we expect today at 1:00 p.m. PDT or tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. PDT. For context, Apple released the second 1

4.5 public beta 24 hours after the second dev beta.

Since this update is so fresh, it is not clear yet what new features or changes we will see. Beta 2 has added over 200 new emoji to iOS, in addition to Apple Music lyrics sharing, new Apple Music swipe gestures, new shortcut options, including a screenshot tool, among other changes. At the moment, iOS 14.5 will introduce more than 30 new features and changes for your iPhone.

Release notes for iOS and iPadOS 14.5 beta 3 will be available soon.
