Apple released the fifth iOS 14.5 developer beta today, Tuesday, March 23. The update comes eight days after the company released 14.5 beta 4 to public testers and developers.
Apple released this update just after 10 a.m. PDT, the default release time for developer updates. Note the keyword “developer” here, as this update is only available to registered iOS developers. If you’re using the public beta on your iPhone, you’ll have to wait for Apple to release iOS 14.5 public beta 5, which we expect today at 1:00 p.m. PDT or tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
Because this update is so new, it is not yet clear what new features or changes Apple has added to this version of iOS 1

You need an Apple developer account to update your iPhone. You can get the recovery image from your dev portal and then install it using iTunes or Finder. Otherwise, install the configuration profile and then update it by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. Finally, you can just wait for it to install automatically if you have a developer profile and “Automatic Updates” is turned on.
