AT&T has partnered with Google to offer a special deal for customers who sign up for a new fiber-optic Internet plan or eligible phone plan with a 5G-enabled phone. These subscribers get six months of Stadia Pro, Google̵
This special deal will not incur any additional cost to customers and will be available from June 9th and will also include customers who upgrade to a fiber internet subscription. If you also need the hardware that will allow you to play on the TV in your living room, you have the option of purchasing the Stadia Premiere Edition bundle. This includes both a Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra and costs just $20.
The deal collaboration is a no-brainer for both parties. Google is getting a little more attention for its struggling Stadia service — which has endured the shutdown of its in-house game studio, among other things — and AT&T will likely see more customers upgrading to plans with extra bandwidth and reduced latency.
