This latest example comes in the debut of a new polar bear at Berlin's Tierpark Zoo. The mother is born on December 1, 2018, but she just made her public debut on Friday.

The unnamed cub seems to be poised to become Queen Fiona The Hippo and Berlin's other famous polar bear cub, Knut (RIP).
Keeper Florian Sicks told Reuters, "Taken is a very good mother, taking incredibly good care of her cub, never letting her out of her sight. We can't complain. ”
Tonja and the cub will stick around at Tierpark Zoo for the next two years before being moved to another zoo. The cub's father has already been moved to a zoo in the Netherlands
