Best Prime Day Deals for $50 or Less: Echo Dot (4th Gen), Fire TV Stick 4K, and More



Amazon Prime Day happening this month — June 21 and 22 — but we’ve been hunting to find early deals. We have found some prices so low that they are more likely to match Prime Day or Black Friday prices. To that end, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite items currently available for under $50, from a Fire TV Stick 4K that retails for $40 to the JBL Go 3 for $40. Keep in mind that many of these prices could drop even lower once Prime Day officially hits ̵

Amazon’s first-generation Echo Show 5 is close to Black Friday price. It has a smart home control panel that allows you to easily control your smart home devices. It’s currently $40 off and could drop even lower during Prime Day sales.

Amazon’s fourth-generation Echo Dot currently costs $45. CNET’s favorite aspects of the spherical Echo are its improved sound quality and fresh design — plus, it’s not bulky.

If you’re not a Roku fan, Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K is now $10 off. With the streaming device you get access to 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, HDR and HDR10 Plus. The remote has Alexa built in, so you can easily ask it to open Hulu, Disney Plus, Netflix, and a host of other streaming services.

The newer Roku Express 4K Plus (currently $40) is our favorite video streamer right now. It offers 4K resolution with HDR support and a remote control that controls the volume and power of your TV.

Need a waterproof wireless speaker in time for summer? The JBL Go 3 costs just $40 (prices are getting higher for different colors) and delivers up to 5 hours of playtime on a single charge. It also sounds good for its small size.

Amazon’s Fire 7 tablet costs $50 and has 16GB of storage. It comes in black, plum, sage and dusky blue colors. It has a 7-inch IPS screen and you can read, surf the web, watch video and listen to music for up to 7 hours. The Fire 7 has Alexa built in.

Apple’s new AirTags can help iPhone owners keep track of important items, such as a handbag or backpack, using the Find My app. If you lose an item, you can put it in Lost Mode so you’ll be notified if another Apple device user finds your item.

If you’re in the market for a new pair of headphones, the Anker Life Q20 might be what you need.
