California's legendary "Flintstone" house faces a legal challenge

No gold can stay.

A lot of humorous and fun bookkeeping clubs are trying to destroy the famous Hillsborough, Calif., Flintstone's style house by having it declared a general inconvenience. So reports the East Bay Times who notes that it is the latest additions to the home that Hillsborough Planning and Building Representatives have penetrated.

And what can these additions be? Why, freaking dinosaurs of course.

The house, built in 1976, has for years shared the community about whether it is a fantastic tribute to whimsy or an oozing eyesore.

The company's current owner, Florence Fang, allegedly initiated renovations on the 201

7 property that East Bay Times notes include "a 15-foot dinosaur crew, plus a giraffe, mastoid and strong-colored mushrooms." ] Hell yes.

A local lawyer Mark Hudak is obviously not a fan. He has filed a complaint with the San Mateo Superior Court and claims that the dinosaurs are too long and constitute "unfinished structures" that require special permits.

The city's officials seem to be on Hudak's side and want the dinosaur sculptures to be removed. It is unclear what happens next, but one thing is certain: people can certainly be lame when they think about it.
