Capitol riot footage shown in Trump impeachment process: watch them here

The impeachment trial against former President Donald Trump continues Friday, with the defense presenting their case. Earlier this week, impeachment managers presented graphic videos to Senate jurors showing Trump urging his followers to march to Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, followed by violence such as rioters shouted obscenities and fought police officers to break through the Capitol and sung for death or injury to reach political figures.

Earlier this week impeachment managers presented previously unreleased security camera footage of the Capitol attack. Shot in and around the Capitol, the clips show the crowd breaking into the building and flowing through corridors trying to find the House and Senate chambers, specific members of Congress and then Vice President Mike Pence.

The footage also shows Pence and his family being rushed out of the Senate Chamber to get to safety, as the rioters were already in the Capitol. The trial is scheduled every other week.
