Set up multiple Amazon accounts on your Echo device.

Chris Monroe / CNET

Everyone in your house uses your Amazon Echo to listen to to music and to create to-do lists. However, this can get confusing when everyone asks Alexa to add something to their to-do list and Alexa can't distinguish between each person's list. Fortunately, there is an institution called Amazon Household: this allows you to connect another person's Amazon account with your Echo Device .

You can add one adult and up to four children to your account. To do this, open the Alexa app on your phone and open the menu. Then tap Account Settings select Amazon Household and tap Start . You'll be instructed to transfer your phone to the person you add your household to so they can sign into their Amazon account. Tap OK and have them follow the on-screen instructions to login.
