Noise canceling is one of the great features of Apple̵
On iPhone and iPad
Once you have paired and connected your AirPods Pro with your iPhone or iPad, you can access the sound control modes directly from the Control Center.
If your AirPods Pro are not automatically connected to your iPhone or iPad, you can connect them manually using the AirPlay feature. Swipe down from the top right corner of the iPhone or iPad screen to open the Control Center.
Then tap the “AirPlay” icon in the top right corner of the Now Playing widget.
Tap your AirPods Pro here to switch to it.
Now that your AirPods Pro is connected, go back to the Control Center. Here you will see the AirPods Pro icon in the volume slider. Press and hold the “Volume Slider” to expand it.
Here, tap on the “Noise Control” button.
Now you can switch between the three modes: noise reduction, transparency and off. Tap the “Noise Canceling” button to turn on noise canceling.
The transparency function allows ambient noise, while the noise canceling mode blocks out all noise.
If you want to turn off the noise cancellation, return to this screen and tap the “Off” option.

Directly on AirPods Pro
While the Control Center makes it easy to switch between different sound control modes, it still takes a few taps on your iPhone or iPad to get it done.
You can switch between all three sound control modes directly from your AirPods Pro without touching your iPhone or iPad.
To do this, simply press and hold the Force sensor in the stem of the AirPods Pro. Within a second or two you will hear a chime and the AirPods Pro switches to a different mode. Each mode (Off, Noise Canceling and Transparency) has a distinctive bell that lets you know which mode is activated.

By default, you can do this on both the left and right AirPods Pro. But this feature can also be customized. You can summon Siri by holding one of the handles of the AirPods Pro.
In addition, you can choose which modes to cycle through. For example, you can remove transparency mode. In this way, holding the force sensor will only enable or disable the noise canceling mode.
To do this, open the “Settings” app on your iPhone after connecting your AirPods Pro.
Tap the “Bluetooth” section in the “Settings” list.
Here, tap the “i” button next to your AirPods Pro.
Here, tap on the “Left” or “Right” option. Here, make sure that “Noise Control” is selected at the top.
Then tap the “Transparency” option to turn it off.
Now if you press and hold the Force Sensor on your AirPods, it will only switch between Noise Canceling mode and Off mode.
On a Mac
While the iPhone and iPad guide you through switching between different sound control modes, the Mac does not.
Yes, you can still use noise canceling mode on your Mac. You can do this in two ways. Use the force sensor in the stem of the AirPods Pro or use the Volume option in the Mac menu bar.
For a Mac user, the Volume section is the clearest way to switch between the different modes.
To do this, click on the “Volume” button in the Mac menu bar and choose your AirPods Pro. Select the “Noise Reduction” mode here. You can come back here and choose the “Off” option to turn noise canceling off at any time.
If you can’t find the Volume section in the Mac menu bar, you can turn it on from System Preferences. Click on the “Apple” menu in the menu bar and go to System Preferences> Sound> Output. Check the option “Show volume in menu bar”.
As we mentioned above, you can switch between the sound control modes by holding the Force Sensor in the stem of the AirPods Pro. By default, this switches between all three modes. You can remove Transparency Mode from this cycle using System Preferences.
Click on the “Apple” icon in the menu bar and choose “System Preferences”.
Select the menu “Bluetooth” here.
Now click on the “Options” button next to your AirPods Pro.
Here, make sure that Noise Control is enabled for at least one AirPod, then disable the “Transparency” option. Then click the “Done” button to save the settings.
Now, if you press and hold the stem of the AirPods Pro, only the noise canceling mode will turn on or off.
