To enable this feature, visit the Nintendo Account Security page. Log in with the Nintendo account you want to protect.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Login and Security Settings page and click "Edit" to the right of the 2-Step Verification Settings.
Click the "2 -Step Verification setup" to continue.
You must confirm your email address to continue. Nintendo will send the verification code to the email address registered to your account. Click at & # 39; Send & # 39; to continue.
Open your email inbox, locate the email from Nintendo and type the code that appears in the email in the box on the Nintendo Account page Click "Submit" to continue.

Nintendo will ask you to Google install Authenticator app if you have not already installed it. We recommend Authy instead, which is compatible with Google Authenticator codes and works everywhere. Authy has a slicker interface and makes it easier to back up your create codes and move them to a new device
Install the Authy app for iPhone or Android (or the Google Authenticator app for iPhone or Android, if you prefer Authy) and launch it to continue. Launch the app, tap the toolbar button that adds a new account and scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen with your smartphone camera.
Finally, you must enter the code displayed in the app on the website. This confirms that your app is properly set up and working properly so that you are not locked out of your Nintendo Account.
If you have enabled two-step verification, you will see ten backup codes at the bottom of the confirmation screen. These codes allow you to log into your account without entering any code from the app, but each code can only be used once. Print them out or write them down and keep them in a safe place in case you ever lose access to the app and need to log into your account.
In the future, you will need to enter one of the following: the temporary codes shown in the app when you log into your Nintendo Account on a new device.
