The last season of Fortnite is here, and this time players must face an alien invasion. As expected, Season 7 Week 1 is live with a brand new set of challenges to complete. Like the challenges of the past few weeks, this new set consists of missions that you will probably complete just by playing naturally. While many of them are tied to new features like the newly added weapons or upgrade stations, you may have already progressed without trying.
However, you can prioritize these challenges to complete them as quickly as possible. Luckily, we’ve got all the details on the latest challenge to get you through it quickly. These are the newest Fortnite challenges and how to complete the more difficult ones.
Season 7, Week 1
We always recommend that you at least take a look at the new challenges every week so you know what to do. You’ll probably be able to get through most of them without any help, but a handful of them — like accepting a payphone quest or using upgrade banks — can give you a little trouble.
Here’s the list of the latest challenges:
- Collect different types of weapons (5)
- Find chests on Steamy Stacks or Craggy Cliffs (7)
- Deal damage with pulse rifle (500)
- Elimination with the Rail Gun (1)
- Accept a search from a phone booth (1)
- Upgrade weapons at upgrade banks (3)
- Buy a shield potion from a Healing Machine (1)
Since a handful of them might bother you, we’ve got tips for completing them below.
Season 7, Week 1 Challenge Guide
Accept a search from a pay phone
This is probably the hardest challenge of the week, simply because you may not know where to find the payphones. The guide below walks you through where they are and includes tips to help you complete the challenge with ease.
Accepting a search from a pay phone
Upgrade weapons at upgrade banks
Like the payphones, upgrade banks are scattered around the map. Use the map above (thanks, Fortnite.gg) for help.
Buy a shield potion from a recovery machine
Again, you may have already come across Mending Machines, but if you’re stuck, use the map above to see their locations (courtesy of Fortnite.gg).
And with that, you should be well equipped to take on this week’s challenges. As long as you know where some of the new points of interest are, you shouldn’t have too much trouble completing the latest batch – and if you do, you’ll be rewarded with a ton of XP, so we highly recommend this one challenges to complete.
