The time to wait for an absolutely murderous phone from Samsung is over. They've released a giant of a phone known as the S20 Ultra, and at least on paper it's a grand slam. But only a few months ago, Apple released its first "Pro" iPhone, and it was huge in itself. So what's better?
If you have a full Team Android or Team Apple, you are probably too deep in the game to switch to this point. But if you're the type of consumer who doesn't blindly follow brands, and you have at least one grand to drop on an absolutely top class phone, this is a showdown for the ages.

What the Galaxy S20 Ultra does better
The The main reason for choosing the Galaxy S20 Ultra is the rear camera, which starts with the new primary lens of 108 MP. Although you can take 108 MP photos, Samsung opts for 12 MP by default by combining a cluster of nine pixels into one pixel. This helps increase the pixel size from 0.8 µm to 2.4 µm for an improved night mode, a feature that it struggled with earlier.
In addition to the 108 MP camera, there is a 48 MP telephoto lens camera. This has a periscope lens that is capable of 10x optical zoom. It also has an incredible 100x digital zoom, called "Space Zoom" by Samsung. And unlike the iPhone 11 Pro Max, there is also a 3D Time of Flight sensor on the back for improved distance measurement.
The front camera, which is located in a smaller hole than the Note 10 series from last year, has been upgraded with a 40 MP camera.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a larger screen at 6.9 inches (one of the largest on a smartphone), which is probably the screen of the highest quality available on a smartphone up to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. This is a 120 Hz display, twice the refresh rate of the 11 Pro Max. It is also an HDR10 + certified screen compared to the HDR10 of the iPhone.
What the iPhone 11 Pro Max does better
With the iPhone 11 Pro Max you might get the best SoC on the market. The A13 produced by Apple can achieve higher CPU and GPU scores on most benchmarks, despite two fewer cores and lower clock speeds. And unlike Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, this system-on-a-chip is designed alongside the operating system for streamlined performance.
Although both flagship telephones have an IP68 rating, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is capable of being immersed for 30 minutes in water up to 4 meters, the highest on a smartphone.
Finally, unlike most years in which Samsung is usually cheaper, the entry price is Apple's highest model actually $ 300 lower. The question for you is whether the extra functions are worth the extra money. Whether you think it or not, one thing we can agree on is that it has a higher value for its lower price.
