The last season of Thrones game can be the shortest so far with only 6 episodes, but don't let that pick you up. We learn today that most of the episodes during season 8 will run beyond the typical hour we usually put aside, so even though this is the shortest season in terms of episode counting, there will still be plenty of content to watch on.
HBO revealed the length of all 6 episodes in the final season today. The first two watches in the lengths we expect more or less of Thronespel at 54 minutes long and 58 minutes long, respectively. When we hit episode 3, however, they begin to be considerably longer. Take a look at the full list of episodes and their driving times below:
• Episode 1
• Episode 2 – April 21: 58 minutes
• Episode 3 – April 28: 1 hour, 22 minutes
• Episode 4 – May 5: 1 hour, 18 minutes
• Episode 5 – May 12: 1 hour, 20 minutes
• Episode 6 – May 19: 1 hour, 20 minutes
So, for the last four episodes of the season, we get pretty close to the movie length. These presence of these fierce episodes will not be a surprise to people who are all on the show so far, as there are lots of loose ends to tie up before the end of the series. Unfortunately, we cannot really guess the contents of these episodes because their names have not yet been revealed.
Although Thrones game comes all in a couple of months, HBO is not finished with the franchise yet. HBO has been quite ahead of time with his plans to create a series of games Game of Thrones which is set thousands of years before the events of the current show and stars Naomi Watts in leading role. We look forward to more information about it in the future, but in the next few months, all eyes will come on Thrones Game as it prepares to finish its incredibly successful run.
