Apple’s Fitness + subscription service will launch on December 1
Apple Watch is extremely popular as a fitness device. And with Fitness +, the company is capitalizing on that popularity by making it the core of the experience. For example, if there are a few minutes left during an intense session, the time will be marked to let you know that you are almost done.
Using artificial intelligence (AI), the service knows what types of workouts you like and will recommend different workouts based on your history. And if you have an Apple Music subscription, Fitness + integrates that into your workouts, so you can focus on the task ahead.
Fitness + recommends workouts that fit what the user already likes so they can do something familiar right away, suggests they try something new, helps them discover a new trainer, or suggests a workout to complement their current routine.
Apple says you get new content every week with different trainers, lengths and music. That way, you don’t have to do the same thing every week. The company also has something they call ‘Absolute Beginner’ workouts, which is perfect for those who are just starting out. Or maybe you’ve taken a break from exercising for a few weeks (or months) and need help getting back into rhythm.
As mentioned earlier, the service will cost you $ 9.99 per month or $ 79.99 per year. Another option is to bundle it with Apple One, which will get you $ 29.99 per month. It includes Apple Music, 2 TB iCloud storage, Apple Arcade, Apple News +, Apple TV + and of course Apple Fitness +. Just remember that you really only save money if you actually use all of those plans.
Either way, you really have no excuse. Get out and get in shape!
