HBO MAX is launched with part of the Anime catalog from Crunchyroll – Review Geek

  Hunter X Hunter
Viz Media

HBO MAX is coming and that is confusing. But if you're a fan of the surprisingly deep selection of anime shows on streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, a new announcement may grab your attention. Warner Media has partnered with the popular anime streaming service Crunchyroll to bring some of the most popular shows to HBO MAX.

It's not a total licensing deal ̵

1; there are only 17 shows that skip, usually only one or two seasons. Still, it's a win-win for both parties: HBO MAX gets an extra bit of content to make it much more competitive in a tight field, and Crunchyroll (still a rare independent player in space) gains more exposure from millions of new HBO customers.

Here is the list of Crunchyroll's licensed titles to be released on May 27 with HBO MAX:

  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
  • Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (Director & # 39; s Cut)
  • In / Specter
  • Stay Away From Eizouken
  • Rurouni Kenshin
  • KONOSUBA-God & # 39; s Blessing on this Wonderful World!
  • Bungo Stray Dogs
  • Berserk
  • Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
  • Kill la Kill
  • Your Lie in April
  • ERASED
  • Kiznaiver
  • Schwarzes Marken
  • 91 Days [19659007] The Testament of Sister New Devil
  • Rokka -Braves of the Six Flowers

Hunter X Hunter and Death Note, are both extremely popular ar with a western audience, will also go somewhere available after the initial launch of the service.
