How to Delete a Facebook Group
Let’s get you started with the permanent solution on how to delete a Facebook group.
Delete Facebook group with a PC browser:
- Go to Facebook.
- If you have not already done so, log in to your account.
- Look at the left menu and click Groups
- Find the section Groups you manage and select the group you want to delete.
- Go to it Members section, directly below the group name.
- Click the three-dot button next to a member and select Delete member
- Repeat the process for each member in the group.
- After you’ve kicked everyone out of the group, click the three-dot button next to your name and select Leave group
- Confirm by selecting Leave group
Delete Facebook group using the smartphone app:
- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap on it Groups tab.
- Select Your groups
- Go to the group you want to delete.
- Tap the shield administrator button to view options.
- Go to Members
- Click the three-dot button next to a member and select Delete member
- Repeat the process for each member in the group.
- After you’ve kicked everyone out of the group, click the three-dot button next to your name and select Leave group
- Confirm by selecting Leave group

- Go to Facebook.

- Click on the button with three dots above it About section.
- Select Archive group
- Touch Confirm

- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap on it Groups tab.
- Select Your groups
- Go to the group you want to archive.
