Move Cloud Saving data between a primary Nintendo Switch and a secondary console can be a time-consuming annoyance. Fortunately, you can automate the sync process and keep data saved on both switches up to date, even in sleep mode!
First, navigate to the home screen of your Nintendo Switch. You can do this by exiting your game or by pressing the Home button on your right Joy-Con controller. Then select the gear icon from the toolbar to open the System Settings menu.
Scroll down and select the “Data Management” tab.
Choose the option “Save Data Cloud” at the bottom of the list.
Choose the user you want to change.
Select the “Settings” tab.
Finally, enable both ‘Automatic data storage backup’ and ‘Download automatic data storage data’. You’re done!
Your Nintendo Switch may require you to manually download and upload a cloud storage for the initial setup, but after that, all Cloud Save compatible titles will automatically sync their save data across all of your Switch devices!
