It’s a new year, and that means time for a new you. Or at least it is time for a new wireless provider. If you find yourself on the magenta network looking for a way out, we’ve got you covered. This is everything you need to know to cancel your T-Mobile service.
The Un-Carrier prides itself on not charging any early termination fees or ETFs. Will that translate into an easy cancellation experience? Let’s take a look at what steps you need to take to get out of wireless service, internet and TV.

T-Mobile’s wireless service is where most people start with the carrier, so it might be the first place you look when you want to get free. After all, some Sprint users are on the magenta network without ever having signed in. Luckily for you, T-Mobile takes the non-contract structure very seriously. You are solely responsible for the remaining balance on your phone, tablet or other devices.
After you’ve rounded up the cost of your devices, it’s time to make a call. Have all your account information ready, then call 1-877-453-1304 to speak with a representative. You can also schedule a callback on T-Mobile’s website under the Support tab.
If you just want to remove a line from your T-Mobile account, you also need a phone call for that. You can manage data add-ons and other extra features in the T-Mobile app. You can cancel T-Mobile’s prepaid service by removing AutoPay from your account and expire the money as well.
Once you’re ready to rid yourself of T-Mobile, here are a few other top providers to look at:

T-Mobile also offers internet service and it is as easy to manage as any other wireless plan. You don’t have to worry about ETFs or contracts, but you may need to consider renting equipment such as a modem or router. Start the cancellation process by collecting your account information as well as any equipment you need to get rid of.

Now T-Mobile will ask you again to schedule a callback to go through the whole process. Make sure you don’t miss the call when the customer service representative tries to reach you, or call them back at 1-877-453-1304. After you cancel your service and complete your last month of payments, you must drop off your equipment at a nearby T-Mobile store.
How to cancel the TVision TV service
One last T-Mobile service you might be ready for is TVision. Unfortunately, T-Mobile recently revamped its TV structure, so it can be tricky to find lots of instructions online now. If you had TVision Home as part of a doubles match, then your service has already been canceled. Support for that platform ended on December 30, 2020.
However, T-Mobile has replaced TVision Home with TVision Live as a competitor to YouTube TV and other platforms. You had to sign up for the service again while it remains exclusive to T-Mobile, but that doesn’t mean you’re stuck.

The best we can see is that you have to follow the same steps as if you were canceling the wireless or internet service. Grab your account information and go to the Support tab on the T-Mobile website. You can schedule a callback from there or call customer service yourself. You may need to be on hold for some time, so be prepared for a lengthy process.
