Did you know that the Windows 10 Taskbar can be resized? With a few clicks you can make it even bigger, giving you more space for application shortcuts. If you use a vertical taskbar, you can make it wider.
Unlock the taskbar first
To change the size of the taskbar, we need to unlock it. Right-click on the taskbar and locate the option called "Lock the taskbar" in the list. If that option has a check mark, click it. If there is no check mark, you are ready to go.
With your taskbar unlocked, you can resize or even move it to the left, right or top edge of your screen.

How to Change the Height of the Taskbar
