Thanks to Spotify’s “Recently Played” section, there is no secret to your secret music vices. If you want to keep your music habits a secret, you need to clear the entries from your Spotify “Recently Played” list by following these steps.
This is only possible for Spotify users using the Windows or Mac desktop app. Unfortunately, it is not possible to clear your “Recently Played” list with the mobile app or Spotify web player, but clearing the entries with the desktop app will also remove them from all linked apps (including on mobile devices) .

If you want to clear your “Recently Played” list, start by opening the Spotify app on your PC or Mac. From the menu on the left, click the “Recently Played” option.
The Recently Played menu shows a list of previously played songs, albums and artists.
Move your mouse over one of the listed covers to view the available settings. You can replay the music, add it to your liked song list, or delete the items completely.
Click the three-dot menu icon to remove the item from your “Recently Played” list.
In the options menu that appears, click on the “Remove from recently played” option.
Once the button is clicked, the item will disappear from the “Recently Played” list. This will also delete the item from other Spotify devices linked to your account, including mobile devices.
Unfortunately, there is no way to clear the “Recently Played” list at once, so you must repeat these steps to clear each item.
