Disable Save login popups in Firefox for desktop
To get started, open the Firefox browser on your computer (Mac, Windows, or Linux) and click the three-line menu button in the top right corner. Select the option “Preferences” here.
In the sidebar, choose the option “Privacy and security”.
Then uncheck the box next to the “Ask to save website logins and passwords” option.
And that’s it. The next time you log in to a new website, Firefox will not bother you with saving the username and password.
Disable the ‘Save this login’ pop-ups in Firefox for Android
When you try to log in to a new website in Firefox for Android, you will see a popup asking if you want to save the information in your Firefox account.
You can turn this feature off through the Settings menu. First, open the Firefox app on your Android smartphone or tablet and tap the three-dot menu button in the toolbar.
Now choose the option “Settings”.
Go to the “Login and Passwords” section.
Select the option “Save logins and passwords”.
From this screen, switch to the “Never Save” option.
Firefox will no longer ask you to save passwords in Firefox.
Turn off Save login popups in Firefox for iPhone and iPad
The process for disabling save login popups is even easier in Firefox for iPhone and iPad.
To get started, open the Firefox app on your iPhone or iPad, then tap the three-line menu button in the bottom toolbar.
Choose the option “Settings”.
Navigate to the “Logins and Passwords” section.
Disable the option “Save logins”.
Firefox will now no longer ask you to save new passwords. This doesn’t change anything when it comes to existing saved passwords. You can still view and use the existing passwords as you normally would.
