Microsoft quickly adds dark mode to the full range of apps. Microsoft To Do is the newest to receive this treatment and it looks great. Now you can tick items from your to-do list without straining your eyes or extending the battery's life.
Some large apps still don't have a dark mode. So with the new system-wide dark themes & # 39; s in iOS 13 and Android 10 you still get a number of apps with blinding white backgrounds. That is why it is important to jump into the settings of an app and switch to dark mode as soon as it is added. Here's how to do that for Microsoft To Do.
Step 1: Switch to dark mode
Open the Microsoft To Do app ( Android | iOS). Tap your initials (or profile photo) in the round icon in the upper left corner and then choose "Settings" if you use Android. Then select "Theme" and choose the "Dark theme" option.
Note: This feature is currently not available in the iOS version of Microsoft To Do. We expect it to be added soon, so keep an eye on the update. We will update this manual when the feature is deployed.
Step 2: Discover the dark mode
Now the app is in the dark mode. There will be a dark background and text will have a lighter color. If you explore the app, you will generally find a darker tone that is easier on the eyes and at the same time uses less battery on phones with OLED screens.
