How to enable dark mode on your OnePlus with Android 10 «OnePlus :: Gadget hacks

OnePlus often introduces unique features that are praised by the smartphone community. But they can sometimes change things and confuse their users. Take for example the dark mode, which became a huge hit thanks to Android 10. Both Google and Samsung offer their dark mode settings in the same general location, but OnePlus opted for a slightly different approach here.

The basic idea of dark mode is to make adjustments to your display so that it is easier for your eyes. Given the fact, you would think the dark mode options are in the & # 39; Display & # 39; of institutions. That's not it.

Enable Dark Mode

OnePlus combined the dark mode of Android 1

0 with their "Adjustment" theme section. So open the Settings app and tap & # 39; Adjustment & # 39; at the top. and then choose & # 39; Show & # 39 ;. From there, tap the "Dark" option in the horizontal scrolling menu at the bottom of the screen, and then tap the checkmark.

The theme should change almost immediately. It still uses the Accent Color and other options that you may have chosen on the screen Adjustment but backgrounds are dark gray and text is converted from black to white. Changes are for the entire system, from supported apps to OS menus such as Settings, Quick settings and your app drawer.

Unfortunately, you must do the same when switching back to light mode each time. There is no Quick mode switch for dark mode as other Android 10 phones have. But even if OnePlus has omitted that, if you are rooted, you can add a dark mode change in less than a minute – watch it below!
