By default, Gmail organizes your inbox into multiple categories to make it easier for you to avoid spam and other unwanted e-mail and gain access to the e-mail that matters. But to open these folders, you must open Gmail, open the side menu, and then select the desired inbox.
You can make it a lot easier by adding a specific inbox to your home screen in the form of a shortcut. Once added, tap the icon and you immediately jump into the inbox of your choice.
Long press any blank space on your home screen and choose "Widgets" from the menu that appears. Scroll through the list and search for Gmail.
Long press the "Gmail label" widget (it looks like a price tag) and drag it to your home screen. Then choose the folder that you want to have quick access to when you are prompted, and you will have the chance to rename the shortcut if you want. Then select "Done" and you will return to the home screen with the new shortcut. Just tap this shortcut to jump directly into the folder!
