How to let people share their screens in a zoom meeting

Screen sharing is an important part of Zoom conference calling. In many situations it is crucial to be able to show exactly what you are talking about. If you are organizing the meeting, you must allow participants to share their screens in Zoom.

7;s on your screen, but it also needs to be enabled for Zoom’s Whiteboard feature. We’ll show you how to do that and how to let multiple people share screens at the same time.

Allow people to zoom in their screens

To allow participants to share their screens, you must first create and start the meeting. This is not something you can choose in advance.

Then, if you are using the Windows, Mac or Linux client, click on the “Security” button and then check the “Screen Sharing” option.

On iPhone, iPad and Android, you have to select the three-dot menu button.

Then tap on ‘Security’.

And now you can switch between ‘Screen sharing’.

That’s all! Everyone in the Zoom video meeting can now share their screens.

Allow multiple people to zoom in their screens at the same time

It’s also easy to have multiple people in a Zoom meeting share their screens. Again, you must be in charge of an ongoing video meeting and you must use the Windows, Mac, or Linux client.

Select the small arrow next to the green “Share Screen” button.

From the pop-up menu, select “Multiple participants can share at the same time.”

It’s that simple. Now more than one person can share their screen or use the whiteboard at the same time. Zoom can feel a bit overwhelming with all of its features, but things like this can really improve your meetings.
