Talking to Alexa on your Amazon Echo can sometimes be a challenge, especially if you have to ask your friendly voice assistant one question after the other. You may ask yourself several questions in a row and then wait for each answer. "Alexa, what time is it?" "Alexa, what is the weather forecast?" "Alexa, what is the traffic to work?" "Alexa, what's the latest news?"
Talking back and forth with Alexa can be cumbersome. Instead, you can combine all these questions into a single process called routine. Add multiple questions, requests, tasks, and other actions that Alexa can chew. Then – if you want to answer all those requests – you give Alexa the name of the routine and she automatically responds to the actions you've added.
You can find a few built-in routines in the Alexa app, but you can also create your own. Let's go through the process.
