How to place Slack's "Mentions & Reactions" screen in the right panel

Slack & # 39; s new look and feel has some features we like, but a minor annoyance is that the "Mentions & Reactions" screen now opens by default in the main window. Here's how to put it back on the right side, where it was located.

In the "Mentions & Reactions" panel, you will see Slack messages in which someone has mentioned you, and ̵

1; more importantly – how many emoji comments you have received on your messages. In the previous version of Slack, the "Entries and Comments" panel was accessible by clicking the ampersand (@) in the top right corner of the workspace.

In the new version of Slack, you need to click on the "Entries and Comments" list in the left sidebar.

Clicking this now opens the "Entries and Comments" screen in the main window, just like Discussions. With the change, you can't see it simultaneously with Threads or Channels.

To return "Mentions & Reactions" to the right side of the screen as before, start by selecting "Mentions & Comments" option in the left panel so that the screen is in the main panel. From there click the dock button at the top of the panel.

This will move the "Mentions & Reactions" screen back to the right side. Re-use button in the future to switch "Mentions & Reactions" back to the main panel if you want.
