Apple may not allow game streaming applications in the App Store, but that doesn̵
Using Stadia on iPhone or iPad
To begin, open your desired web browser. For best results, Google recommends using Safari as it allows you to create a shortcut to the progressive web app (PWA) – more on that in the next section. But if you’re partially using Google’s web browser, you can use Chrome.
Then select the search bar, go to stadia.google.com and sign in with your Google account.
Before jumping into a game, if you have a third party Stadia controller or Bluetooth controller and want to use it, now is the time to connect or pair with your iPhone or iPad.

You can now select a game from the “Home” tab. If you don’t have one, you can buy one from the Stadia Store.
When you’re ready to start playing, tap the play button on the artwork of the selected title.
Unfortunately, some of your browser’s UI will likely hang while you play. To make it disappear and play your game in full screen, you need to create a PWA shortcut.
Add stadia to the home screen of the iPhone or iPad
Adding a Stadia shortcut to your iPhone or iPad home screen is useful for several reasons. First, it provides quick access to your games. Second, you can game in full screen without parts of your web browser (such as tabs) getting in the way.
While Stadia works in any web browser on your iPhone or iPad, unfortunately, you can only create home screen shortcuts using Safari.
Start by opening ‘Safari’. If you can’t find the app on your phone or tablet, use Apple’s built-in Spotlight search to find the app.
Next, go to Stadia’s website (stadia.google.com) and sign in with your Google account.
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen on your iPhone or to the right of the address bar on your iPad.
In the menu that scrolls up from the bottom of your screen, scroll down and select the “Add to Home Screen” button.
A preview of the shortcut is displayed on the home screen, along with its URL. Tap the “Add” button in the top right corner of the overlay.
The Stadia shortcut is automatically added to your iPhone or iPad home screen.
Tap the PWA to launch Stadia immediately on your Apple device. To move the shortcut, you can long press the icon and drag it to another home screen or drop it into a folder.
