If you have a jailbreak iPhone, there is a tweak that you can now purchase to get rid of screen shots of calls once and for all. Called CallBar XS, made by Elias Limneos it adds a simple call bar interface to iOS that takes up less than a fifth of your iPhone's screen space, so you get incoming calls can multitask. The bar is a less intrusive and distracting experience and you can easily continue where you left off once you answer or hide the call.

Although CallBar XS costs $ 3.99, its features help improve your iPhone experience, which outweighs its price. In addition, the tweak is incredibly easy to open and use once you've purchased it, as we'll show in more detail below.

Step 1: Install CallBar XS

To start, open either Cydia or Sileo and tap the & # 39; Search & # 39; tab. From there, enter "callbar xs" in the search bar and then tap the tweak as it appears exactly in the results field. Now tap "Install" (Cydia) or "Get" (Sileo) and follow the prompts to continue with the installation.

Step 2: Buy CallBar XS

After the respringing message you will receive immediately a toast notification on your home screen asking you to activate your CallBar XS license, so click "OK" and open the Settings app. Once inside, scroll down and select "CallBar X" to enter the preferences.

You now need to purchase a CallBar XS license to enable the function . Tap "Buy CallBar XS" to continue with the purchase. Once done, you will be automatically transferred to a PayPal page, so enter your login details and follow the instructions to pay for the license.

After the payment is completed, you will be taken to a page with your payment details, along with your unique transaction ID. This ID is very important because you will need it for future verification in case you need to reinstall the tweak for any reason, so save a copy of this page by taking a screenshot of it on your iPhone to save it on to save in your Photo & # 39; s app

Please note that earlier versions of CallBar that were purchased Cydia itself cannot be applied to CallBar XS, so you must purchase a new license in full to use the tweak. However, if you have purchased CallBar X for iOS 11 using the above method, you will receive a 50% discount by specifying the transaction ID and email address associated with the purchase, as stated on the tweak's website.

Step 3: Enable CallBar XS

After completing the payment you now have access to the CallBar X, so go to the settings as highlighted in the second step and tap the switch next to "Enable" to tweak to enable. From there, you'll be greeted with a whole host of features that you can enable, ranging from setting the call bar at the top or bottom of the screen to using the tweak for FaceTime calls – and more.

In addition to these settings, CallBar XS allows you to set a custom theme for a more personal look by tapping "Global display style." There you can choose from a number of themes such as "Concept 13 Dark Glass", "Concept 13 Solid White", "Solid Black", "Concept X (Curved)" and "Concept X (Flat)", to name but a few to name a few.

Please note that although you can freely set the light & dark themes & # 39; s to appear at the top and bottom of the screen, the two Concept X themes & # 39; s can only be set from the bottom.

CallBar XS also offers you options to directly access your tweak in the call bar by making various gestures on the status bar of your iPhone. To do this, press "Activation methods" on the Settings page of the tweak and tap one or all three switches to allow you to open CallBar XS by double tapping or swiping left or right on the status bar.

No matter what options you have set, CallBar XS immediately applies them without the need to reset your device so that you can try every setting on the fly and adjust until the tweak works exactly as you want.

Step 4: Enjoy CallBar XS

With CallBar XS enabled and set to your preferences, all incoming and outgoing (if enabled) phone calls appear as a small, unobtrusive call bar that you can tap to continue out to expand for more options, such as switching on the loudspeaker function or raising the keypad.

If you receive an incoming call while you & # 39; If you do something important, swipe up the bar to hide it your status bar will turn green to indicate that a call is still trying to reach you. You can tap that bar to display the call bar again. If you play a game or view something in landscape mode, you should keep in mind that the bubble bar is locked in portrait mode, so it will be sideways if you are in landscape mode.

The tweak functions much in the same way for FaceTime Audio and Video, with the latest with added windows on both sides to show videos of you and your contact. And if the video call is too small, double-tap the call bar to turn on Full Screen mode to see your contact more clearly.
