The watch face system on Apple Watch is quite intuitive, from adding watch faces to changing them with a swipe. But what if you want to group watch faces? Here̵
How to reorder watch faces on Apple Watch
There is no limit to the number of watch faces you can add to Apple Watch. But once the initial excitement subsides, you’re left with three to four watch faces that you may want to use on a regular basis.

That is what we have found in our experience. We’ve even found that a set of three dials is the sweet spot: a heavy complication (Infograph), a simple or analog (typography or numbers), and one for fun (Memoji, Photos, or Mickey Mouse).
And once you have these watch faces, you can simply swipe all the way across the screen from the left or right edge to quickly switch between the watch faces. You can also automate the process of changing watch faces using shortcut automation.
But to get there, you have to set them up first. And that’s where the dial rearrangement comes into play.
After adding and customizing your watch faces, press and hold the watch face.
Here, tap and hold the watch face you want to move.
The watch face will immediately pick up and you will see a marker in front of the watch face, along with samples of the two watch faces before and after it. You will also see the current dial number (for us, this is 3 of 12.).
Then move the watch face left or right while holding down your finger. You see the number at the top of the update and feel haptic feedback for every move.
When you are satisfied with the order of the watch face, lift your finger.
Press the Digital Crown to return to the watch face.
You can repeat this process to reorder other watch faces as well.
How to Reorder Apple Watch Faces on iPhone
The process for reordering watch faces on the Apple Watch itself is a bit picky. If you don’t feel like fiddling with the tiny Apple Watch screen, you can easily rearrange watch faces from the Watch app on your iPhone.
Open the “Watch” app on your iPhone and go to the “My Watch” tab.
Here, in the “My faces” section, tap the “Edit” button.
You will now see a list of all available watch faces. Tap and hold the handle icon from the right side of a watch face.
Swipe up or down to move it where you want it.
Repeat the process to reorder other watch faces. When you are done, tap the “Done” button to save the new order.
