As part of a series of privacy improvements in iOS 14, apps will have to ask for this before tracking your activity on the apps and websites of other companies. Here̵
First, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap “Privacy” on the Settings screen.
Tap “Follow” at the top of the privacy screen.
Tap the switch next to ‘Allow apps to request to follow’ to turn it off. When it is off, the switch will be grayed out and pointed to the left.
Then exit Settings. From now on, no more apps will appear with requests to track you. This means, by default, you tell all apps not to profile you for targeted ads unless you’ve previously given them permission to do so.
To change which apps can individually track you for targeted ads, go to Settings> Privacy> Tracking and turn off the toggles next to each app listed there. It is important to note that even with this option turned off, you can still be tracked while using the Internet on your iPhone. Stay safe there!
