The latest Google TV update is rolling out this week and includes a ‘Content Preferences’ option in Settings. After you open Content Preferences, Google will ask you to rate a range of shows and movies. Once that’s done, Google will apply your new preferences to your Google account, improving recommendations for all of the company’s services.
Google is now rolling out the latest Chromecast with Google TV update, but it may take a few days to reach your device. If you don’t see the option to manually update your content preferences, try adding shows and movies you care about to your watchlist, and make sure to mark any recommendation content you’ve already seen as ‘watched’.
