Multiplayer Hit ‘Among Us’ is now available on Nintendo Switch for five dollars – Review Geek

Among us is a gaming phenomenon that is skyrocketing from a niche title in 201

8 to the hottest casual game of 2020. Previously available only on iOS, Android and Windows, the game is expanding to the Nintendo Switch today. You can find it on the eShop for $ 5, the same price as on Steam.

Among us is a multiplayer game where you are placed in the amorphous spacesuit of a crew on a derelict ship. Up to ten players team up to get the ship to work by completing mini-games all over the map … but one of them isn’t what they seem. The trickster is there to kill the other players (in adorable gory cartoon cutscenes) while the rest of the crew try to find out which one of them is the monster.

Players vote on which one they think kills the others … while the imposter tries to throw them the wrong player into space. If the cheater can stay until only one player remains, he wins. If the crew can find out which one it is, they win.

Among us has become an incredible success for a small indie game that has inspired millions of viewers on Twitch and a discourse that extends beyond the gaming community. Developer Innersloth plans to continuously expand it, including a recently announced fourth map.
