After closing in March, the NBA resumed the season in late July and played through mid-October, with the Lakers emerging from the bubble in Orlando as the 2020 champions. Usually held at the end of the June playoffs, the NBA Draft from this year moved back to November. With the draft finally here, fans can stop watching mock drafts and start seeing what their team will look like when the 2021 season kicks off in December.

When is the trip?
The NBA Draft takes place on Wednesday, November 18. It starts at 4 p.m. PT (7 p.m. ET) and consists of two rounds. Unlike previous drafts with NBA prospects in great suits walking the stage to shake hands with the commissioner as they get elected, this year’s draft will be held virtually. Commissioner Adam Silver and Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum will announce selections live from ESPN’s studios in Bristol, Connecticut.
