The 22-book series follows the next generations of adventurers and ultimately covers the origins of Martin’s sword. For many it is a beloved and classic theories that only ended with the death of the author (Brian Jacques) in 2011.
Netflix says it will start with a feature film based on the first book, Redwall, before going to a TV series about the books. Patrick McHale who created it About the garden wall, will write the screenplay. While Redwall has had a cartoon adaptation in the past, this will be the first feature film and the first time a production company has obtained the rights to each book.
Unfortunately, Netflix has not announced when it will be released Redwall, so for now, you should settle for grabbing the book from Amazon and use your imagination.
