Oven space is scarce on that predetermined fourth Thursday of November. 2. Recipes that use a hob

Put the gravy on a low burner and make room for these sweet treats! Sydney or The Crepes of Wrath has an excellent recipe for poached pears of vanilla spices; they are a light and relatively healthy dessert that makes for a beautiful presentation.

Or you can quickly chocolate pecans with ganache filling to perfectly prepare a pre-baked crust to dress! Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 8 oz. dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 pre-baked or graham cracker crust

Instructions:

  1. Melt the whipped cream, butter and chocolate chips over a double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth mass. Set aside.

  1. Roast pecans in a dry saucepan over medium heat until nutty aromas come out. (Alternatively, you can also use the pecans in the microwave to roast.)

  1. Pour the chocolate into a graham cracker crust purchased in the store and then sprinkle with pecans.
