During the worst of 2020, I had a playlist that reflected my mood. Mostly it was (and remains) smooth jazz, because sometimes I just don’t want words in my head … especially when the song turned out to be an earwig. In addition, I continued to play “The Waiting” by Tom Petty (“Every day you see one more card”) every chance I got, along with “Roll with it” by Steve Winwood, and “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder – plus the always weird Ian Drury and “Reasons to be Cheerful”, and of course “Tubthumping” from Chumbawamba.
My playlist is still under development for 2021. All I can say for sure is that “Fight Song”
And you? What was on your playlist for 2020? How does your 2021 playlist sound? Let us know in the comments?
