Ordering food through mobile apps has made life much easier. The only problem is there are dozens of different apps you can use for it. Google Pay streamlines the process by putting everything in one interface. We hope you are hungry.
Google Pay got a major overhaul in late 2020 and one of the new features was food ordering. Google combines several popular delivery services and collection options in one app. This can make things a lot easier the next time you need to order some food.

First, open the Google Pay app on your iPhone or Android smartphone. Make sure you are on the main ̵
Then scroll down to the ‘Discover’ section and tap ‘Order food’.
The “Order Food” page has several options. You can choose between “Pick up” and “Delivery”, the type of cuisine and filter by rating. If you order delivery, tap the down arrow next to your location to add your exact address.
When you find a restaurant you like, select it to start an order.
When you place an order, you will see the available delivery services that can place the order. Choose what you want; you do not need to sign in to an account for any of these services.
Select an item from the menu to adapt it to your order.
After making all selections for the item, tap ‘Add to order’. Do this for all items in your order.
When you have added all your items to your cart, tap the “Go to order” button.
Review the order and make sure everything is correct. Now is the time to enter any additional requests. Tap “Checkout” when you’re done.
A lot of information will appear, including an estimate of how long the order is likely to take. You can customize your delivery address, enter promotional codes and change the tip amount.
Scroll further down the page to enter your payment method. By default, your main Google Pay method is used. If everything looks good, tap on ‘Place order’.
Your order has now been confirmed. Depending on the type of order you have placed, you may be able to track the progress.
Now you just have to wait for your food to be delivered (or until the pick-up time). It is very convenient to do all of this directly from the Google Pay app.
