Ohio State University has now made the popular Swift Coding and App Development certificate program available to everyone regardless of whether or not they are enrolled at the university. Swift is Apple̵
The program’s curriculum is built around Apple’s, along with Xcode, which means it is more robust and effective than programs found on other third-party educational sites that pay per course. It is open to experienced developers as well as those without any coding experience. The program consists of four courses, each starting at $ 350.
“This coding and app development certificate program offers anyone, regardless of their background or prior knowledge of coding, the opportunity to learn a tangible, actionable digital skill that provides them not only instant skills to use and explore, but also a foundation for future learning, innovation and creativity in the digital world, ”said Cory Tressler, Director of Learning Programs and Digital Flagship.
The program is self-paced, allowing participants to learn when it suits them and at a pace that is comfortable for them. It’s completely online and accessible from anywhere, and all you need to get started is a Mac and Xcode, which you can download for free for Mac. It’s great for anyone looking to learn Swift and also makes it easy for employers to retrain their staff. Employers can also submit applications for course fees.
