Panasonic just announced its brand new flagship 4K OLED TV for 2021
The JZ2000 is a great option for your living room, especially if you have one serious console gamer, as it promises extremely low latency with its custom panel. The new Game Mode Extreme setting reduces lag, optimizes the picture, and supports the variable refresh rate and high refresh rate options of HDMI 2.1. It also has support for HDMI Signal Power Link, making it a solid choice for a living room PC.
Panasonic’s 2000 series stands out from the rest of its OLEDs thanks to its custom OLED panels. The JZ2000 proves no different, using an extra bright Master HDR OLED Professional Edition custom panel designed to amplify HDR modes such as Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10 + Adaptive. There’s also a nice variety of welcome software upgrades, such as Bluetooth audio support for two devices and faster global access to global settings.
The TV’s processor, as you may have guessed, uses AI to improve picture quality. It identifies the content being displayed and automatically adjusts picture and sound whether you like sports, news or an action movie. This is quite remarkable, especially when you consider the TV’s side and top firing speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Panasonic has not yet released information on pricing or availability, although it is possible that this will happen at CES. Either way, both sizes of the TV are a great option for console gamers as well streaming home enthusiasts.
