Your Galaxy's lock screen already tells you that no SIM card is installed if it is missing from your device, so there's really no need to have a permanent icon for it on the status bar. If you want to hide the annoying symbol and associated notification for good, there is a handy app that you should check out now.
Granted, you can see the warning & # 39; No SIM card installed & # 39; Snooze by swiping sideways over the notification and the call button, but that's temporary. You need to install a third party app to hide the warning for good – in this case appropriately named Hide Persistent Notifications. For $ 2.49, the app allows you to hide all system notifications from including others such as current VPN status and ongoing system updates.
: Install Hide Persistent Notifications
To purchase the Hide Persistent Notifications app, go to the Play Store and perform a search for the app as you normally would. Or you can go directly to the app installation page from the link below.
After purchasing Hide Persistent Notifications, you must first give permission to access your notifications before it can hide them. To do this, open the app and click the "Take Me There" button as soon as the "Permission to Access Notifications" prompt appears.
Now click "Hide Persistent Notifications" on the "Notification access" page to grant the app permission and then tap "Allow" on the confirmation prompt to complete the selection.
Now open Hide Persistent Notifications and tap the button + in the bottom right corner and then select the message "No SIM card inserted" and then click "Hide" in the popup. Note that the notification must be currently visible before you can see it on the "Select a notification" page. Your status bar will no longer show the No SIM card and forward notification icon!
