Pixel 4 already generates some discussion thanks to some involuntary renders but Google still has one last hurray to give before closing the Pixel 3 chapter. Yes, Pixel 3a and 3a XL, formerly Pixel 3 Lite and 3 Lite XL, have not yet been redone, but it may not be long now. And when they do, there may not be much left in the way of unexpected features thanks to some important details that have leaked about these mid-range phones.
Google hasn't made a mid-range phone yet, bet it on the Nexus-dependent line or the younger Pixel brand. It has actually added some premium specifications in not so high designs, like the Nexus 5X, but it still counts as a flagship phone. It will be interesting to see Google's interpretation of this level.
Judging by some of the more persistent leaks, it cannot differ so much. The biggest difference internally is the expected Snapdragon 670 and 64 GB storage in Pixel 3a. Given that Pixel 3 has the same 4 GB of RAM, it can be considered almost high-end. The 3000 mAh battery is only slightly better than Pixel 3 even.
If the tip is correct, Pixel 3a will also have an OLED screen instead of a cheaper LCD screen. With a 5.6 inch size and 2220 × 1
On the outside, the most obvious difference is, at least when you hold it, used by a polycarbonate (plastic) body instead of metal and glass. The phones will probably come in clear white and just black colors as well as a mysterious new option. Pixel 3a and 3a XL are expected to start in the spring and, just like any other Pixel, will only be available on Verizon for carrier-mounted models.
