The Peloton app for iOS now supports Chromecast, so you can stream your workouts from a larger screen. Previously, this feature was only available for Android users, while the Peloton bike could only cast classes to a supported device via Miracast, which meant that iOS users were completely left out of functionality.
With the update, iOS users can now throw their classes to a screen that supports Chromecast or a TV with the packed Chromecast dongle. The move comes when Peloton was made public last year and said it would work to make its classes more accessible from more devices and price ranges. A Peloton-only digital subscription costs $ 1
To send lessons on your Chromecast supported screen, open the class you want to follow and find the Chromecast icon in the top right corner. Select it and choose the device to which you want to send the video.
Today's update also comes two months after Peloton has released its Fire TV and Apple Watch apps for more ways users can stream classes and track their heart rate and running distance.
