It is a motion-activated device with a 2000 lumens LED floodlight around a camera. The camera supports 1080p video and the floodlight can act as a siren. It connects via WiFi on the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz spectrum.

If you’re more interested in a video doorbell, Ring has an update Video doorbell 4 to consider. It is an update to the Video Doorbell 3 and can now offer color moving video before someone rings the doorbell. The Video Doorbell 3 only delivered black and white video if it spotted a person before they rang the bell. The new doorbell records in 1080p, provides fast answers, and can connect to Wi-Fi via either 2.4GHz or 5GHz spectrum.
