Samsung & # 39; s Unpacked event is arriving soon and we should soon know all the details about its upcoming phones. Although we have a pretty good idea of what to expect, thanks to a series of leaks the latest information comes straight from the horse's mouth. Or the Samsung website as it were. According to a registration page, Samsung promises to deliver pre-ordered phones on 6 March.
If you are wondering what to expect at the Samsung Unpacked event, you don't have to look far to find credible information. We are waiting for a sequel to the Galaxy S10 from Samsung – probably called the Galaxy S20. Chances are it looks familiar, but include features such as a 120Hz screen and better cameras. Just like the Galaxy S10, we would not be surprised by multiple variants – a normal, a Plus and an Ultra.
We are also looking for a new foldable, allegedly called the Galaxy Z Flip. But instead of being a direct successor to the infamous Galaxy Fold, it might look like Motorola & # 39; s new foldable Razr. When closed, it looks like a flip phone; when opened, it looks like a modern touchscreen phone. But at the moment that is all (very likely) rumor, and we will have to wait until Unpacked to know what is real and what wishful thinking.
If you don't have to wait to find out, and you know you're going to order something from Samsung, the company is ready for your excitement. Today the company has published a reservation page pending its pre-order period.
For clarity, reserving a place in the queue does not have to be reserved in advance for a telephone or to guarantee that you will get one. You cannot even specify on which phone you want. Instead, you are placed on a distribution list that alerts you when pre-orders are opened.
But in addition to a teaser video, one striking detail stands out: a delivery date. According to the registration page, Samsung promises "delivery by March 6 while supplies last." The page also suggests that you can trade in phones to lower the full price of the devices (whatever those prices are).
We plan to attend Samsung & # 39; s Unpacked event on February 11, and we have all the details when they are official.
