Apple’s whole deal goes all-in on the platform: grab the computer, phone, tablet, watch, and headphones, and your (digital) life is complete. A popular choice for accessories that complement Apple̵
The “USB-C Watch AirPods Charger” uses the ambidextrous, ovular USB-C port to present a different charging surface on both sides. On top is the round, slightly magnetic pad for the Apple Watch, below (or vice versa) is the shallow shell for the wireless charging of AirPods. The charger is designed for use with a MacBook or an iPad Pro (or the latest generation of the iPad Air, with a USB-C port), but it should work with just about anything that has at least a five-volt electrical output.

The charger presumably only works on the side at a time – there’s no room to stuff the Apple Watch or AirPods on the bottom when plugged into a laptop. It’s small and travel-friendly, but you’re paying for the convenience: Satechi wants $ 50 for the two-in-one charger. That’s a premium over budget-brand wireless charging stations on Amazon, which can charge an iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch all at once for about half.
The USB-C Watch AirPods Charger is available for purchase now from the Apple Store and ships immediately. It should be rolled out to the usual retail suspects soon.
