The best services to order champagne for New Years

Visit the WHO website for the most current news and information about the coronavirus pandemic.

New Year’s Eve is only a few evenings left and I think we can collectively agree that that is something to celebrate. There is no better year than this terrible year to drop a huge bottle or bottles – lots of bottles – of champagne and ship 2020 packaging, without returning. With coronavirus cases flowing across the US, you may be in the market for some bubbly to get home safely, and having your champagne delivered will save you a trip with a face mask to the parcel store.

The pandemic, coupled with more options than ever to order your booze online on the Internet, has skyrocketed alcohol and liquor sales since the start of lockdowns, quarantines and shelter on the spot, said Nielsen. If you̵

Keep in mind that alcohol delivery laws vary by state, so not every service is available in all areas. However, many states consider liquor stores an essential service during the pandemic and allow the supply of alcohol from restaurants and liquor stores where they may not have had it in the past. Stock also varies by store and service, so if something is out of stock now, it may be back in stock soon. We update this list periodically.

Just remember that the same rules that always applied to alcohol apply now, perhaps more than ever: enjoy wine and spirits in moderation and never drink and drive.

Drizly

Drizly is an online alcohol delivery service that partners with more than 2,200 retailers in North America to deliver beer, wine, spirits and snacks to your door. It is available in 26 states and DC.

When you add something to your cart, you have the option to choose which store in your area will fulfill the order, as well as ETAs for delivery, minimums and costs. You can often have your order delivered within an hour (although the site currently warns of delays given increased demand), or schedule a delivery for the future. Add a tip for your driver and you are good to go. The site also encourages users to choose contactless deliveries.

Total wine

Total Wine has a wide variety of spirits, beer, and wine, and offers same-day alcohol and snack delivery in 19 states, as well as shipping and in-store pickup. If you’ve ever been to any of its stores, you know that there is a wide variety to choose from, including home and craft beer and spirits. If you’re looking for great wine, the Winery Direct deals let you mix up six bottles to get a discount. Bottles start at as little as $ 3.

Saucey

Saucey offers a 30-minute or two-day delivery of beer, wine and spirits, with no delivery charges or order minimums – the price is all included, so what you see is what you pay (there are shipping though). The catch is that it only operates that on-demand service in certain cities. Check your zip code at the link below to see if your region is included.

Mini-bar

Minibar operates in 19 states and DC and promises to deliver great wine, beer, and spirits to your door within an hour. It also offers statewide shipping within three to five days and an option for in-store pickup from your local liquor store. The site stands out for its easy navigation and the ability to quickly filter by type of alcohol, then store, country, size, container and price.

Wine.com

Home delivery is great, but if you’re going to Walgreens or FedEx anyway, you can order from online retailer Wine.com for pickup from one of those retail locations near you. The site claims it has the “largest selection of wines in the world” and you can have the bottles of wine delivered to your home or one of those local pick-up locations. You can also sign up for the StewardShip program – a one-year subscription costs $ 49 and you get free shipping all year round.

Instacart

In 22 states, you can add wine, beer, and spirits to your grocery delivery order from the online grocery delivery service Instacart. Orders are handled by supermarkets near you. Normal delivery charges apply and you must show your ID.

Winc

Are you a wine lover? Winc is a wine-of-the-month club and wine subscription service that lets wine drinkers take a short quiz and make recommendations to suit their taste buds for a monthly subscription to great wine. You can also search the site for whatever you want – from red wine like pinot noir to white wine like sauvignon blanc and more. Selecting four wines will get you free shipping every month, on both Winc’s own wines and bottles from independent wineries. Bottles start at $ 13 each. Our sister site Chowhound called Winc the best wine subscription for most people, saying it “provides great value to the wines overall and a user-friendly site.”
